Arts & Sciences Camp

This year, the Lancaster County Council of the Arts is excited to celebrate our 30th year of Arts & Sciences Summer Camp.

Learning through the arts develops the critical thinking, collaboration, and creative skills necessary to succeed in a global world. Creatives can think through problems and envision solutions. Our Summer Arts and Sciences Camps offer quality instruction with imaginative and fun projects, supplies, and healthy snacks. Everyday at camp we have fun projects in art, science, music, culinary, and fitness!

We are especially proud to offer full and partial scholarships through the generous support of local businesses, organizations, and individuals. Our community's generosity ensures that every camper has the opportunity to experience a week full of fun and learning.

What to Expect?

Camp is held from 9:00am-12:30pm, Monday - Friday.

On the first day, your child will be welcomed to camp and placed in a group with other campers their age. Every day, they will rotate through classes in visual art, music, science, fitness, theater, and culinary arts. Classes are taught by certified teachers from our local district, who bring their passion and expertise to summer camp, leading hands-on activities that spark your child's love of learning and creating.

Every day, we have two snack-times built into our schedule. All snacks are nut-free and artificial dye-free. We prioritize offering nutritious snack options to you camper.

On Friday, our campers will put together a special showcase for you! Teachers will share some of the projects they did during the week, and our campers will demonstrate what they have learned in their music and theater classes.
