Creative Tuesdays On The Move

In January 2022, the Lancaster County Council of the Arts launched our Creative Tuesdays program to offer art workshops to our community. This year, we are introducing "Creative Tuesdays on the Move," expanding to include multiple locations throughout Lancaster County.

August 11th | Printmaking with Ember Estridge‍

Join us for this beginning printmaking workshop! In this class, students will learn basic printmaking skills. Starting simple with scratch foam and working up to a 4”x6” linoleum block that you can carve your own design in. You are welcome to bring your own design to carve or choose from a selection of pre-made designs. All materials are provided. This class is geared toward learners ages 16 and up. Younger learners may sign up as well, but should be accompanied by an adult as we will be using sharp tools during this workshop. Click here to view the flyer.

August 25th | Make Your Own Coil Vase with Abbey Hunter

Get a feel for clay in this hands-on workshop with ceramicist Abbey Hunter. In this workshop, participants will learn essential hand-building techniques to create their own ceramic vessel. Bring your creativity and get ready to get your hands dirty! All work will be fired and glazed by the instructor following the class, and will be available for pick up at the Historic Springs House.
