Creative Tuesdays On The Move

In January 2022, the Lancaster County Council of the Arts launched our Creative Tuesdays program to offer art workshops to our community. This year, we are introducing "Creative Tuesdays on the Move," expanding to include multiple locations throughout Lancaster County.

Up Next:

November 10th | Intro to Ballet with Phillip McRorie

This class will offer a gentle introduction to the art of ballet. Participants will explore alignment, posture, and beginning ballet techniques with an influence from the Cecchetti Method of classical ballet. The class will begin with exercises at the barre and progress to work in the center with a short dance learned at the end of the class. No previous experience is required, and modifications will be offered for dancers of all levels.

Participants are encouraged to wear form-fitting clothing that allows freedom of movement. For footwear, either socks or ballet shoes are acceptable.
